White Ribbon Day 2024
White Ribbon Day, 25th November, is annually recognised as the day men pledge their year-long commitment to ending violence against women and girls.
The day inspires individuals and organisations to take positive action to challenge harmful cultures and behaviours that lead to violence against women and girls.
Every year, White Ribbon UK works around a theme to raise awareness about men’s violence against women and girls and the need for men to be part of the solution as active allies.
At this year’s event (25th November 2024), we held an engaging panel discussion that brought together influential individuals - based both in our local community and from the UK - to learn more about coercive control: how to identify its signs, actions to support those affected, and ultimately, ‘how NOT to be a bystander’.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible panelists for sharing such inspiring insights, to our attendees for bringing the event to life with your engagement, and to our organisers and sponsors RBC for making it all possible!
Details of our next White Ribbon Day Event will be posted on social media.
